Privacy Policy

Atomate Industrial Systems · El Segundo, California
Effective date: September 15, 2026

This policy explains what information the Atomate mobile app and its connected monitoring service collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. Atomate is an industrial equipment monitoring and AI-assisted optimization tool used by invited operators and technicians — it is not a consumer product, accounts are created by invitation only, and we do not sell personal information or show advertising.

Information we collect

How we use it

AI features

When you use troubleshooting or optimization features, the relevant text (for example your transcribed question and current sensor context) is sent to our AI providers to generate a response, and voice audio is sent to our speech-to-text provider to produce a transcript. These providers process the data to provide the feature to us, under their own privacy terms; we do not permit them to use it for advertising. Our AI providers do not use your data to train their models: Anthropic's API does not train on customer content by default, and every speech request we send to Deepgram is opted out of model training.

Service providers

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service. Each receives only what is needed for its function:

ProviderFunction
SupabaseDatabase, authentication, file storage, and backend functions
AnthropicAI troubleshooting and optimization responses
DeepgramSpeech-to-text transcription of voice input
HiveMQEquipment telemetry message broker
Fly.ioHosting for the optimization worker (processes equipment telemetry)
SentryCrash and error reporting
Apple / ExpoApp distribution and push-notification delivery

What we don't do

Where your data is stored

Service data is stored and processed in the United States (database and backend in the western US; the optimization worker runs in California). Our providers may operate supporting infrastructure elsewhere under their own terms.

If something goes wrong

If we learn that your personal information or your site's equipment data has been accessed without authorization, we will notify the affected account holders without undue delay and tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us at the address below. To delete your account, email us from the address on the account; we will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days. Audit and security logs may be retained longer where needed for safety records or legal obligations.

Security

All connections use encryption in transit (TLS). Access to data is scoped by account role, database row-level security, and per-service credentials. Site operators use the app to see their equipment; changes to equipment settings are made only through explicit, role-gated actions, and every such change is recorded with who made it and when. Nothing changes on your equipment without a logged action behind it.

Children

The service is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email.
